Roberta Johnson

Roberta “Bert” H. Johnson,67, died April 5, 2004 at the Ninth St. Chautauqua Guest Home, Charles City, IA.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 8th, 2004 at Bruce-Graham Funeral Home with the Rev. Evelyn Lewiston officiating. Interment will follow in the Fort Dodge Memorial Park Cemetery.

Roberta was born on August 26, 1936 in Fort Dodge, the daughter of Sylva (Olmstead) and Elmer Johnson. She graduated from the Webster City High School with the class of 1954. On October 16, 1955 she was united in marriage to Kenneth Johnson.

“Bert” enjoyed bowling, traveling and camping with her family.

Roberta’s memories will be cherished by her husband, Kenneth; 1 daughter, Deb (Dean) Fischer of Rockwell City, IA; 2 sons, Ed Johnson of Seattle, WA, Jay Johnson of Fort Dodge, IA; 1 grandchild, Michelle (Jesse) Cervene; and 3 great-grandchildren, Kassandra, Tyler and Tanner Cervene.

Roberta was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Sylva and 1 Grandson, Michael Kruger.
