Marvin H. Pease
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, September 9, 2005 at North Lawn Cemetery. Bruce-Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Center is in charge of arrangements. Marvin H. Pease, 86, of Fort Dodge, died Monday, September 05, 2005 at the Fort Dodge Villa Care. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, September 9, 2005 at North Lawn Cemetery. Bruce-Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Center is in charge of arrangements. Marvin was born June 16, 1919 the son of Harrison M. and Alta E. (Whaley) Pease in Parkersburg, IA. He enlisted in the United States Army in 1935 serving his country until 1939. Marvin was stationed at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. On July 15, 1942 Marvin was united in marriage to Elizabeth ‘Betty’ Dudding in Bethany, MO. Marvin served the citizens of Fort Dodge for many years while employed by the Fort Dodge Fire Dept. Marvin’s interests and hobbies included golfing, fishing, camping, and traveling south for numerous winters. Those thankful for having shared in his life include his wife; Betty, one sister; Norma (Robert) Henry, and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Pease was preceded in death by his parents, one son; William ‘Bill’ Pease, three sisters; Dorothy Jennings, Lorraine Guthrie, Gladys Zeka, and one step brother; Elmer Suter.
