Beverly F. Tiernan, 67, of Fort Dodge, died Thursday, December 28, 2006 at her home.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bruce-Graham Funeral Home with the Rev. John Elkin officiating.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.  Burial will follow the funeral service in the Oakland Cemetery, Fort Dodge.

Beverly was born on May 26, 1939 the daughter of Gerald and Garnet (Jones) Walker in Fort Dodge.  On May 4, 1957 she was united in marriage to Don Tiernan.  To this union five children were born. 

Beverly was employed by the Trinity Regional Medical Center in housekeeping for numerous years.  She enjoyed making quilts and doing other craft projects; she also had a love for cooking.

Those thankful for having shared in Beverly’s life include her children; Cindy Kleemeier, Brian Tiernan, Blayn Tiernan and Chary Geerlings, siblings Carol McNealy, Gerry Weaver, Linda Walker, Charlie Walker and Jane Parks.  She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.

Beverly is preceded in death by her parents, husband and one son, Brent Tiernan
