Bertha L. Alexander, 92, of Fort Dodge, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, February 3, 2008 at the Trinity Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday February 7, 2008 at the Bruce-Graham Funeral Home with the Rev. Karen Berg of Riverside United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow in the North Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 until 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.

Bertha was born November 6, 1915 the daughter of Clyde and Amy (Spawn) Wheaton in Champaign, IL.

Bertha worked as a nurse’s aide at the Webster County Home and owned the White Way Grocery Store for many years.

Bertha is survived by one brother in law, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Mrs. Alexander was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lester, sisters; Eunice, Sally, Lillietta, Delores, brothers; Chuck, Ralph and Delbert Wheaton.
