Carl Hepperle, 82, of Fort Dodge, died Sunday, September 10, 2006 at the Trinity Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at the Trinity United Methodist Church with the Rev. Stephen Peters officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5 until 7 p.m. at the Bruce-Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Visitation will continue Wednesday one hour prior to services at the church.

Carl was born May 3, 1924 the son of Charles and Lina (Horn) Hepperle on the family farm near Vincent. Carl farmed near Vincent and later farmed near Badger until his retirement. After retirement Carl enjoyed wintering in Texas and New Mexico with Louise. He also enjoyed horseback riding, livestock auctions, and having coffee everyday with friends.

Carl was united in marriage to Evelyn Hurley and to this union 5 children were born. On June 26, 1974 Carl was united in marriage to Inez Louise Urich.

Carl was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church and volunteered at the Lords Cupboard.

Those thankful for having shared in Carls life include his children; Deanne (Bart) Charon of Fort Dodge, David (Lyn) Hepperle of Fort Dodge, Annette St. John of Fort Dodge, and Paul Hepperle of Florida, step children; Robert (Cindy) Urich of Denver, CO, Kathy Whitney of Denver, CO, and Karen Urich of Tallahassee, FL, one sister; Lena “Lea” (Tom) Merrill, 11 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.

Mr. Hepperle was preceded in death by his parents; Charles and Lina Hepperle, one son; Mark, and his wife Louise on June 13, 2006.
