Ann Marie Bennett-Bird

Ann Marie Bennett-Bird, 54, of Fort Dodge, IA, died Thursday, June 15, 2023, at UnityPoint Health – Trinity Regional Medical Center.  A celebration of life service will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at the Marion County Park in Knoxville, IA.  Memorials may be directed to the family.  Arrangements are with Historic Bruce Funeral Home of Fort Dodge.

Ann was born October 26, 1968, in Iowa City, IA, the daughter of Sue and William Lee Bennett.  Ann worked as a CNA for many years.   Ann enjoyed being outside with nature, laughing and doing diamond paintings, spending time with her family, but above all she cherished being a grandma. She loved entertaining and spending time with her grandkids.

Ann is survived by her son:  Christopher Bennett; 3 daughters:  Mikayla Quigley Green, Karie Gorbett and Krystal Marchand; 5 grandchildren: Tanner Weldon, Ruby Pyerce and Taylor (Bennett), and Eli and Kiki; and friend:  Anthony “Tony” Van Every.  She is also survived by her husband:  Brian Bird.

She was preceded in death by her daughter: Kanina Park; and her parents:  Sue and William Lee Bennett.
