Anver Roger Habhab
Anver Roger Habhab, 69, of Fort Dodge passed away Wednesday October 24, 2012 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice House.
Funeral services will be at the Bruce-Graham Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the North Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 until 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Roger was born October 25, 1942 the son of Nozey and Mildred (Riles) Habhab in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He was educated in the Fort Dodge Public Schools. In 1960 Roger was united in marriage to Pamela Dishman and together the couple had five children. Roger owned many businesses in Fort Dodge and at the time of his death owned Connection Publications and Ag Advantage.
Through out Roger's life he was an avid car collector. His extensive car collection also included a Cushman Scooter Collection.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Pam; children, Carla (Garth) Willhite of Sandstone, MN, Jamelia (Jeff) Beisch of Nevada, IA, Johnny Habhab of Fort Dodge, IA, Janel (Dave) Sweeney of Fort Dodge, IA, fourteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, sisters, Elizabeth (Mustiphie) Habhab of Ames, IA, Kathy Wilson of Sioux Falls, SD, and one brother, David (Kim) Habhab of Baton Rouge, LA, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents, sister Joan Bettleson, brother, William (Billy) Habhab, son, Anver Roger Habhab Jr. who died in 1980 at the age of 16 and a grandson Kyle Cervene who died in 2004 at the age of 22.
Roger's life long friend Mike Bergren and many others will miss his humor and companionship.
Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
