Benjamin E. Schreiber

Benjamin Edward Schreiber, 70, of Fort Dodge, IA, died Friday, April 7, 2023, at UnityPoint - Trinity Regional Medical Center.  Private family services will be held at a later date.  Memorials may be directed to the family.  Arrangements are with Historic Bruce Funeral Home of Fort Dodge.

Benjamin was born November 20, 1952, in Conroe, TX, the son of Bill Edward and Ruby Arlene (Christoph) Schreiber.  He attended school in Leggett, TX.  He worked as a repairman for much of his life.  Benjamin enjoyed shooting, hunting, fishing and boating.

Benjamin is survived by his son:  Benjamin “Bebo” Edward Schreiber Jr. of Texas; his mother:  Ruby Sauerwein of Austin, TX; and 5 siblings:  Richard Schreiber of Beaumont, TX, Robert Schreiber of Beaumont, Michael Schreiber and wife Elizabeth of Austin, Sandra Espinosa and husband Lupe of Conroe, and Peggy Bannerman and husband Steve of Plantersville, TX.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father:  Bill Schreiber and a sister:  Judy Schreiber.
