Beverly Brown

Memorial services for Beverly Ann Brown 67 of Fort Dodge will be Sunday, August 31, 2014 at 2pm at the Historic Bruce Funeral Home in Fort Dodge with the Rev. John Elkin officiating.  Visitation will be from noon until time of services.  She died August 28, 2014 at the Fort Dodge Villa Care Center.  Historic Bruce Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements.  Online condolences may be directed to www.brucesfuneralhome.com

Beverly Ann Brown was born February 28, 1947 in Fort Dodge, Iowa to Percy and Marian (Patterson) McDowell.  She graduated from Fort Dodge High School.  Bev was united in marriage to John Brown in Fort Dodge and to this union three children were born,  Scott, Shane and Stephanie.  Beverly worked as office manager for Fort Dodge Sign Company for many years and later worked at Electrolux.  She enjoyed reading, watching television especially sports and Elvis. She also enjoyed growing plants and her dogs. Her biggest passion was smoking and her pepsi.

She is survived by her children; Scott Brown of Sioux Falls, Shane Brown of Fort Dodge and Stephanie Lukehart of Granger, three grandchildren, Baily Brown, Evan Lukehart, and Cade Lukehart.  Also survived her siblings; Roger McDowell of San Antonio, Ron (Linda) McDowell of Bouton, IA, Rick McDowell of Rogers, AK and Bonnie Stanfill of Warren, AK.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters Barbara and Brenda.
