Bonnie May Lutroe

Memorial services for Bonnie Lutroe 88 of Fort Dodge will be May 20, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Historic Bruce Funeral Home in Fort Dodge. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Corpus Christi Cemetery. She died December 22, 2016 at the Villa Care Center in Fort Dodge.

Bonnie M (Benway) Hubel Lutroe was born May 28, 1928 in Fort Dodge Iowa. Her parents were John and Anna (Pool) Benway. She grew up in Fort Dodge and attended Fort Dodge Public Schools. She was united in marriage to Edward Hubel. He passed away in 1981. She later married Henry M. Lutroe and he passed away in 1995. Bonnie worked in the Fort Dodge Bakery for many years. She was a bell ringer for Salvation Army, she enjoyed gardening, feeding her birds, and going to polka fests. She was a member of St. Olaf Lutheran Church.

Bonnie is survived by her stepdaughter, Joanne (Roger) Petersen of Fort Dodge. She was preceded n death by her parents and brother Thomas Benway.
