Charles R. Pierce, 87, of Fort Dodge, died Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at the Fort Dodge Villa Care.             Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 13, 2008 at the Bruce-Graham Funeral Home with the Rev. Karen Berg officiating.  Interment will follow in the North Lawn Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 9 until 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.             Charles was born in Pipestone, MN the son of William Andrew and Florence (Dow) Pierce on March 29, 1921.              Charles was a people person and enjoyed visiting with his friends.  He was a devoted employee of Bush Hog Industries for 23 years.  In his free time Charles enjoyed fishing and playing pool.  Charles was a member of Riverside United Methodist Church.             Charles is survived by two sisters; Mae Heck of Fort Dodge, IA, Vi Shadbolt of Modesto, CA and numerous nieces and nephews.             Mr. Pierce was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters; Helen Hill, Alice Dobrow, Betty Hood, two brothers; William and Everett Pierce.
