Charles W. Pitsor, 76, of Fort Dodge, died Saturday, March 17, 2007 at the Fort Dodge Villa Care Center.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church. Interment will follow in the North Lawn Cemetery with a flag presentation by the Walter Porsch V.F.W. Post 1856. Visitation will be held from 4 until 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Bruce-Graham Funeral Home.

The family requests memorials be directed to the St. Paul Lutheran Church Building Fund.

Charles was born May 30, 1930 the son of Charles Abraham and Lyle Margaret (Arnett) Pitsor in Clear Lake, Iowa.

Charles served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War.

Charles loved collecting John Deere toy tractors of all scale sizes. He also took interest in the collection of coins. Charles enjoyed reading and watching westerns and sporting events.

Those thankful for having shared in Charles’ life include his wife Donna, two children; Robert Charles (Suzanne) Pitsor of Minnetrista, MN, Katherine Jeanette Law of Apple Valley, MN, five stepchildren; Mark (Joan) Stanley of Grinnell, IA, Murray (Julie) Stanley of Fort Dodge, Michael (Gretchen) Stanley of Fort Dodge, Kevin Ziems of Sioux City, IA, Caroline (Mark) Steinberg of Fort Dodge, IA, one sister; Renee Kocher of Eldorado, Arkansas, two grandchildren; Erin Jane Pitsor, Thomas Edward Law and seven step-grandchildren.

Mr. Pitsor was preceded in death by his parents, wives; Jane Ann Pitsor and Dorine Pitsor, two sisters; Patricia Hansch, Marilyn Kutz and a brother Thomas Peter Pitsor.
