Connie Lee Garcia was born September 21, 1951 in Jefferson, Iowa to Donald and Ruby (Jackson) Rice. She grew up in Jefferson and attended Jefferson Schools. She then attended D.M.A.C and Buena Vista College. Connie was a care giver in the mental health field. She enjoyed antiquing and restoring furniture.

She is survived by her children; Jennifer McQueen, Theresa Garcia, Heather Garcia and Austin Lucas, 9 grandchildren, and her siblings; Sandy, Jim and Rick. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson Aaron Beaman and her sister Vicki.
