Curtis Lee Ziegler

Curtis Lee Ziegler, 48, of Fort Dodge, died Thursday, November 4, 2010 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice House.         Memorial services will be held at 7:30 p.m.Wednesday November 10, 2010 at the Bruce-Graham Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Rushton officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until service time Wednesday.         Curtis was born April 26, 1962 the son of Richard and Beverly (Stafford) Ziegler in Fort Dodge, IA.          Curtis loved the outdoors whether working in the yard, blowing all the snow on the block or walking his dog. He enjoyed the quiet banks of the river as he cast his line in anticipation of catching the big one. He also looked forward to spring and the hunt for mushrooms. Over the years he also enjoyed camping and being with friends. Curtis' two passions were cars and food and both were on his mind constantly. He was always anxious to play cribbage and numerous other card games. Curtis was a proud member of AA.         Those thankful for having shared in Curtis' life include his fiancé, Wendy Jordison and her daughter Chelsy Krantz, father, Richard Ziegler, five children, America, Marissa, Kirsten, Noah, Nevaeh, three sisters, Chris Hatley, Sue Sheldon, Kathy Smith, six brothers, Richard, Jack, Billie, James, Danny, Edward Ziegler and one grandchild.Mr. Ziegler was preceded in death by his mother, Beverly, brother, Jeff and two grandchildren.
