David "Dave" J. Norland

David “Dave” J. Norland, 59, of Corwith, IA, died Thursday, March 19, 2026, at the Kossuth Regional Health Center in Algona, IA. A celebration of life gathering will be held from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Veterans’ Park in Algona. Memorials may be directed to the family. Arrangements are with Historic Bruce Funeral Home of Fort Dodge. 

David was born April 15, 1966, in Britt, IA, the son of William J. and Margaret M. (Willey) Norland. He attended Algona High School. He worked at Hawkeye Ag Farm for many years. Dave enjoyed fishing, working on cars, semi’s, going to the races and having a good time. He always wanted to be a truck driver.

Dave is survived by 4 children: Michael Norland and wife Megan of Burt, IA, Taylor Norland and wife Mikayla of Sioux Rapids, IA, Seth Norland and wife Shelby of West Bend, IA, and Zac Norland of Titonka, IA; 9 grandchildren: Arkadian, Mathyaus, Atheena, Frost, Greyson, Harper, Jaxson, Kip and Sophie; 4 siblings: Kim Norland and wife Rene of Algona, Dawn Fox and husband Troy of Burt, IA, Keith Norland and wife Melanie of Ankeny, IA, and Renee Richardson and husband Blaine of Whittemore, IA; his significant other of 26 years: Tracie Foley of Corwith; 2 step-children: Phillip Lusson and wife Lara Elizabeth of Wesley, IA and Kimber Mullenbach and husband Steven of Corwith; and 3 step-grandchildren: Shilow, Braxton and Jodie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and grandson: Kennedy Norland.
