Deloris V. Morris, 80 of Fort Dodge, died Sunday May 6, 2012 at the Tompkins Memorial Health Center.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday May 9, 2012 at the Bruce-Graham Funeral Home with the Reverend James Laupp officiating. Interment will follow in the North Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Deloris was born June 21, 1931 the daughter of Charles and Dorothy (Guthrie) Bruce in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Deloris was united in marriage to Dale Morris in 1949. To this union three sons were born.

Over the years Deloris was employed in the office at Gambles and later at Messenger Printing.

Deloris loved the outdoors and all that it offered. She enjoyed camping and spending time in Okoboji. She enjoyed fishing with family and friends and enjoyed watching the birds, especially the finches. She was a very talented seamstress and also loved to knit. Deloris enjoyed bowling and during her relaxation time she was known to read.

Those thankful for having shared in Deloris life include her husband Dale, sons, Dale L. (Ann) Morris of Des Moines, Iowa, Dan (Deb) Morris of Fort Dodge, Iowa, one brother, Charles Bruce of Barnum, Iowa, twelve grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Mrs. Morris was preceded in death by her parents and son Dean.
