Dorothy Mae (Antolik) Kurth, 83, of Fort Dodge, Iowa died Wednesday, June, 29, 2011 at Trinity Regional Medical Center.

Funeral Service will be held at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Edward Durand officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church and continue until time of services at the church.

Dorothy Antolik was born on March 12, 1928, in Fort Dodge, Iowa to George and Mary (Rebarcak) Antolik. She received her schooling through the eighth grade at Trinity Lutheran School. She then entered the public school system, graduating from Fort Dodge Senior High in 1946. She graduated from Saint Josephs Mercy School of Nursing in 1949 and received her Registered Nursing degree the same year.

On Easter Sunday, April 9, 1950, she and Marvin Walter Kurth were united in marriage. They enjoyed 26 years together. Mr. Kurth died in 1976 at the age of 48. They were blessed with three children, Janet, Donna, and John.

After Marvins death, Dorothy worked full time at Trinity Regional Hospital. She retired in 1992 after 30 years.

Surviving Dorothy are her children Janet and Brad Brandt, Rochester, Minnesota and their children Ben (Christy) Brandt, Owatonna, Minnesota, and their children Rebekah and Noah, Andrew (Lisa) Brandt, Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and their children Lincoln and Owen. Donna and Joe Kudron, Boone, Iowa and their children Sara (Jay) Maxwell, Kihei, Hawaii, and Dan Kudron, Boone, Iowa. John and (Stacy) Kurth, Fort Dodge, Iowa, and their children, Adam Kurth, Fort Dodge, Iowa, and Brady and Brianna Anderson at home, and sister-in-law Marcia Antolik, and good friends Jane Condra and John and Linda Hallgren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, brothers John Antolik (W.W. II), George Antolik, Albert Antolik, and sister Ann Mahoney.

Memorials may be directed to Prince of Peace Pipe Organ Fund.
