Earl E. Fevold, 92, of Fort Dodge, died June 3, 2004 at the Tompkins Memorial Health Center.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 7, 2004 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Burnside. Private family interment will be held in North Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3 until 5 p.m. Sunday at the Bruce~Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Center.

Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to direct memorials to the Immanuel Lutheran Church or Friendship Haven.

Earl was born September 5, 1911 the son of Laureths J. and Mary (Johnson) Fevold in rural Humboldt Co. He attended school at the Beaver Township Country School in rural Badger. On March 25, 1931 Earl was united in marriage to Viva Kathleen Vinsand in Ida Grove, IA.

Earl was an outdoor enthusiast who loved working in his garden, casting his line in an attempt to catch the big one, or hunting many type of game. Following his retirement he began dabbling in woodworking. Earl was a member of Farm Bureau, Lutheran Brotherhood, and Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Those thankful for having shared in Earl’s life include his two sons, Ronald (Evelyn) Fevold of Fort Dodge, Darrel (Joanne) Fevold of Des Moines, two daughters, Nancy Fevold of San Antonio, TX, and Barbara (Jim) Davis of Marshalltown, IA, one brother, Mervin (Doris) Fevold of Badger, 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 2 step great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Fevold was preceded in death by his parents, wife Viva, 3sisters, 4 brothers, one granddaughter, and one great granddaughter.
