August 27, 1922 — September 21, 2019

Ella June Davis, 97, of Fort Dodge, IA, passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2019, at the Paula J. Baber Hospice House. A celebration of life gathering will be held from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM on Saturday, October 5, 2019, at the Loomis Park Shelter (N. 7th Street & Loomis Park Dr. - Fort Dodge). Inurnment at St. Olaf Cemetery in Fort Dodge will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family.

Ella was born August 27, 1922, in Genoa, MN, the daughter of Ira and Juanita (Young) Mulnix. She attended school in Douglas, MN. Ella moved to Fort Dodge and married Icel Davis in November of 1943. Ella worked hard all of her life. She was a very caring and giving person. She enjoyed her family and friends.

Ella is survived by her daughter: Linda Davis and her grandson: Ryan Davis - both of Fort Dodge; daughter-in-law: Mary Davis and granddaughter: Teresa - both of Madison, Minnesota; grandchildren: Tiffany Balvin of Springfield, South Dakota, Tony Davis and Tanya Scheidt of Watertown, South Dakota; several great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and a sister: Easter (Dupey) Sickman of Fort Dodge. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 2000; son: Terry Davis in 2018; sisters: Mildred Elm, Marilyn (Cummings) Eastland, Ethel Marie Mulnix and Helen Mulnix; also a brother: Andrew (Buddy) Mulnix.
