Ellis ""Butch"" Burns

Ellis Butch Burns was born August 19, 1948 in Greeley, Colorado to Lloyd and Betty (McLaughlin) Burns.  He grew up in Colorado and in Iowa.  He was united in marriage to Pearl Pigman in 1970 at Rinard, Iowa.  The couple settled in Moorland, Iowa.  Butch was a welder at U.S.G for several years.  He moved to Lehigh in 2011.  He enjoyed fishing with his father in law, Jack Pigman and spending time at Riverside socializing with his friends. 

On August 10, 2015 Ellis Dee Burns died at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home in Fort Dodge, Iowa.  He is survived by his two sons; Adam of Dayton, and Matt of Burlington, 2 grandchildren Lucas and Anthony and one great grandson Landon.  He is also survived by four sisters and one brother; Marie, Chris, Sheryl and Holly all of Greeley, Colorado and Rocky Burns of Fort Dodge.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and three sisters; Sandy, Roxanne and Michelle.

As per Butch's wishes he was cremated with no services.
