Eric Gambill

Eric “Rick” Gambill, Sr., age 66 of Lehigh, passed away on November 8, 2023 at his home in Lehigh.  A family graveside service will be held at a later date.   Arrangements are with Historic Bruce Funeral Home of Fort Dodge.

Eric, the son of Robert Wayne and Louan (Hunt) Gambill, was born on September 7, 1957 in Toledo, OH.  He graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School in 1975.  Eric was a warehouse supervisor and truck driver for White Transfer and Storage for over 35 years. On May 8, 2003 Eric married Kathy Simmons in Fort Dodge.  Eric enjoyed hunting, motorcycle riding and spending time with his family.

Left to cherish Eric’s memory is his wife of 20 years, Kathy; children, Cyndi Gambill of Fort Dodge, Eric Gambill of Fort Dodge and Louan “Anna” Gambill of Lytton; step children, Jennifer Simmons of Callender, Jamie Simmons of Fort Dodge and Jacob (Amanda) Simmons of Gilmore City; 21 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Bryan Gambill.
