Flavia Weilenman

Flavia Helen Weilenman, 76, of Fort Dodge, died February 12, 2004 at the Trinity Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 17, 2004 at Bruce’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Officiating will be the Rev. Tim Geitz of St. Paul Lutheran Church. Interment will follow in the Holiday Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 until 7 p.m. Monday, at the funeral home.

Flavia was born April 5, 1927 the daughter of Frank and Jeanette (Nellis) Flynn in Fort Dodge, IA. Flavia simply loved life and all that it had to offer.

Flavia was united in marriage to Kenneth Hansen, and later married Frank Weilenman.

Flavia looked forward to spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved going on picnics, fishing excursions, and relaxing with a good crossword puzzle.

Those thankful for having shared in Flavia’s life include her children, Monica Pringle, Gloria (Gary) Smith, Sue Henry, all of Fort Dodge, Sandy Williams of Washington state, and Bill Hansen of Livermore, one sister Ruby Fahn of Washington state, 13 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Weilenman was preceded in death by her parents, one son Kenny Hansen, one sister, Maxine Jewell, and two brothers, Russell and Douglas Flynn.
