Helen L. Porter

Helen Lorraine Porter, 79 of Fort Dodge, died Sunday, February 24, 2013 at Fort Dodge Health and Rehabilitation. Private Family Services will be held at a later date. Interment will be in Fort Dodge Memorial Park. Helen was born January 18, 1934 in Mankato, Minnesota to John and Gertrude (Frohm) Porter. As a small child, the family moved to Fort Dodge, Iowa, where she has lived since. Helen enjoyed crocheting, knitting and sewing. She also enjoyed playing cards. Helen was a long time resident at Greanleaf Care Center and for the past three years has been a resident at Fort Dodge Health and Rehabilitation.

She is survived by two brothers; Bill and Jack Porter, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings; Ray, Chuck, Jerry, Melvin and Shirley.
