Jack Lamont Herrington

Jack Lamont Herrington, 75, of Fort Dodge, died Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday June 18, 2011 at the Bruce-Graham Funeral Home.  Inurnment will follow in the Corpus Christi Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Memorials may be directed to the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home.

Jack was born April 2, 1936 the son of Delbert and Lucille (Lumsden) Herrington in Lehigh, Iowa.  On November 28, 1960 Jack was united in marriage to Mary Louise Benegas at the Corpus Christi Catholic Church.  Jack remained employed with Clean All until his health no longer permitted hence retiring in the last few months.

Jack loved fishing his favorite spots along the Des Moines River for large catfish.  He truly enjoyed the outdoors.

Those thankful for having shared in Jacks life include his brothers, Ronald (Marge) Herrington of Humboldt, Iowa, Donald (Georgia) Herrington of Burnside, Iowa and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Herrington was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Mary Louise.
