Jerry Elsbecker

Jerry Elsbecker, age 58 of Laurens, passed away Friday, February 5, 2021 at Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge. Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Jerry William Elsbecker, the son of Walter William and Mildred Victoria (Heinen) Elsbecker was born on March 29, 1962 in Britt, Iowa. After graduating high school, Jerry enlisted in the United States Army. On December 27, 2004, Jerry was united in marriage to Marlene Summers. He was a certified welder and was employed by the Bobalee Factory in Laurens until his retirement.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 16 years, Marlene of Laurens; daughters, Crystal Elsbecker of Sioux Falls, SD and Leah Box of Marshall, MN; step-daughter, Heidi of Ames; step-sons, Roger Coppinger of San Antonio, Texas and John Coppinger of Laurens and sisters, Mary Martin of Elkhart and Darlene Belt of Dakota City. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Janice and Karen and step-son, Jimmie Lawson.
