            JoAnn Schneider, 67, of Fort Dodge, died Friday July 31, 2009 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home.            Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at the Bruce-Graham Funeral Home with the Rev. Howard Burnett officiating. Visitation will be held Monday from 3 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.            JoAnn was born July 20, 1942 the daughter of Wilbur E. and Edna (Nickless) Porter in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Jodie was employed at the Trinity Regional Hospital for 30 years holding several different positions.            JoAnn was extremely family oriented and was very proud of her children and all their accomplishments. She had a soft heart and a place for everyone. She was always available and true to her word and enjoyed being a confidante to all. JoAnn enjoyed treasure hunting for her collectables at a good garage sale. She had a passion for dancing, music and wouldnt miss an episode of Dancing with the Stars. She was a member of the Trinity Regional Hospital Bowling Team for many years.            Those thankful for having shared in JoAnns life include her children: Terry (Sabrina) Schneider of Marshall, MI, Traci (Dennis) Godwin of Rockwell City, IA, Tammie (Mike Littzen) Schneider of Fort Dodge, IA, five brothers: Roger Porter of St. Roberts, MO, Lee Shimon of Colo, IA, Mike (Gail) Shimon of Carthage, MO, Tom Shimon of Greeley, CO, N. Jake Shimon of Greeley, CO, four sisters: Cathy (Jose) Moya of Storm Lake, IA, Carolyn (Corey) Dare of San Ramon, CA, Mary (Bruce) Torkelson of Des Moines, IA, Ruth (Mike) Wiske of West Bend, WI, eleven grandchildren, seven great grandsons and many nieces and nephews.            JoAnn was preceded in death by her father: Wilbur Porter, mother: Edna Shimon, brothers: Gerry and Geffory Shimon, sister: Sharon Suhrbier and sister in law: Mary Lee Shimon.
