John Frances Sorenson was born September 5, 1960 to Gerald and Jane (Hayes) Sorenson in Iowa City, Iowa. John passed away at his home in Fort Dodge on July 20, 2021.
John worked at Mineral City as a cook until his health forced him to retire. He was an avid Nacscar fan but nothing crossed the finish line before his grandchildren.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters Heidi (Josh) Minich of Murrieta, California and Debra (Justin) Beadle of Fort Dodge; sister Jean Bryan of Alabama; along with his 9 grandchildren.
