Jonathan Lee Owens, 55, of Fort Dodge, IA, died Saturday, August 29, 2026, at his home. Services will be held at a later date.
Jonathan was born July 1, 1971, in Metairie, LA, and raised in Leland, MS, the son of Warren Lee and Patricia (Hoop) Owens. He attended school in Mississippi. Jonathan worked as a Pipe Fitter for Precision Millwright in Fort Dodge. Jonathan had a passion for fishing! He also enjoyed hunting, music, playing guitar and restoring his old corvette.
Jonathan is survived by his companion of many years: Sandra Jahnke of Fort Dodge; his mother: Patricia Owens; 3 children: Justin, Blake and Colten; sister: Amanda; step-son: Sean; and 3 grandchildren: Madilyn, Kaysen and Maysen. He is also survived by his nieces.
He was preceded in death by his father: Warren.
