Daniel and sister-in-law Mayra Daniel; younger sister, Linda Daniel; nephew Martin Daniel and wife Michelle Daniel; niece Ani Daniel, her husband Alberto Diaz, and their son Aidan Diaz; and many cousins.

Joe was a bright and creative child. He enjoyed fishing with his friends and cousins, waterskiing with his siblings, photography, archery, electronics, target practicing, music, and family vacations. As a young man, Joe and his mother opened and operated Joseph’s Hobbies and Crafts on Central Avenue in Fort Dodge. He spent his later years in Denver, Colorado, and Dallas, Texas, to be near his sister.
