Justin A. Bradley
Justin Anthony Bradley was born December 28, 1989 and entered into eternal life July 4, 2008. He will remain in our hearts forever. A “Celebration of Life” will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 12, 2008 in the Decker Auditorium with the Rev. Matthew Martens officiating. Interment will follow in the Fort Dodge Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday at the Grace Lutheran Church, 211 South 9th Street, from 3 until 8 p.m. with a prayer service at 6. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to the discretion of the family. Justin was born the son of Mark A. and Kelly S. (Haviland) Bradley in Coronado, CA. Justin graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School in May of 2008. Justin has been an outstanding friend, student and athlete during his life. Justin was compassionate, sensitive, dependable, competitive and hard working. His work ethic was visible even in sixth grade when his competitive spirit won him the record for number of curl-ups in one minute at Fair Oaks Middle School; he held that record until the spring of 2008. During high school Justin was involved in numerous activities including; football, wrestling and most noted for soccer in which he was chosen 1st Team CIML. Justin was also the captain of the FDSH Varsity Boys Soccer Team in 2008. He was awarded the Dutch-Huseman award for being on the first FDSH Soccer Team to make a state appearance in 2007. A soccer team was put together to play in the Iowa Winter Games for the first time and returned with a silver medal. Justin also scored the first goal as an international player for the U.S. People to People Ambassador Program. Justins soccer career was not over he had been accepted to play on the upcoming ICCC soccer team this fall. With all of Justins sporting activities he was still able to achieve honor roll recognition and maintain a high quality of life. Justin was as busy out of school as in and was known for his many hours of volunteer services and helping of others through the Grace Lutheran Church Youth Group. He participated in Youthworks mission trips to Windsor, Canada and Cortez, Colorado. Justin also assisted in helping others with yard work, snow removal and any number of odd jobs necessary. He was always willing to help. Those thankful for having shared in Justins life include his parents; Mark and Kelly Bradley, one sister; Teisha (David) Kaloupek of Fort Dodge, one brother; Nicholaus Bradley-Bryant of Rapid City, SD, Grandparents; Charles (Fern) Bradley, Patsy Haviland and John Pendlebury, Nancy Haviland, four nieces; Mackenzie, Lexi, Lilly, Lynzie, numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, a very special girl friend; Baileigh OBrien and many, many great friends. Justin was preceded in death by his Grandfather Donald Haviland, Jr., one brother; Baby Boy Bradley and one Uncle.
