Larry Morphew

Larry Dale Morphew was born July 18, 1942 in Nora Springs, Iowa, to Lloyd and Dorothy (Kerns) Morphew. He grew up in the area and graduated from Nora Springs High School. He continued his education at NIAACC and Buena Vista University. He married Susan Faleo on December 9, 1961. For many years Larry was a teacher at Estherville Lincoln Central Schools.

Larry Dale Morphew, 75 of Estherville, IA died at the Avera Holy Family Hospital in Estherville on January 21, 2018.

He is survived by his wife, Susan and children; Melinda (Jeff) Johnson, Alan (Sarah) Morphew, and Christopher (Tanya Kooi) Morphew, grandchildren; Alexandra Johnson, Rachael Johnson, Anthony Morphew, Samuel Morphew, Clara Morphew and Dylan Morphew and one brother Nolan Morphew.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Clark Morphew.

As per Larry's wishes there will be no services. Even after death, Larry has continued his quest of education and has donated his body to the University of Iowa.
