Logan M. Schmidt

Logan Matthew Schmidt, 38, of Fort Dodge, IA, died Saturday, May 24, 2025, at his home. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM on Saturday, May 31, 2025, with a time of sharing at 4:30 PM at the Historic Bruce Funeral Home, 923 1st Avenue South. Memorials may be directed to the family. Arrangements are with Historic Bruce Funeral Home of Fort Dodge. 

Logan was born December 19, 1986, in Fort Dodge, the son of Danny R. Fiferlick and Cindy J. (Schmidt). He attended school in Marshalltown, IA and graduated from WyoTech achieving a mechanics degree. Logan had numerous jobs as a mechanic. A devoted father, Logan cherished every moment spent with his children. Logan’s love for life extended beyond fatherhood. He was an avid Raiders Football fan, passionately following his team through the highs and lows. He loved traveling to the mountains and ocean; afternoons spent fishing, and walking his beloved dog, Max. Logan ... Fireball...

Logan is survived by his 3 children: Ryker Schmidt of Albion, IA, Reed Schmidt of Albion, and Adalynn Schmidt of Marshalltown; his mother: Cindy Kelly of Fort Dodge; his father: Danny Fiferlick of Fort Dodge; 2 brothers: Jefferey Kelly of Fort Dodge and Brandon Kelly of Fort Dodge; grandparents: Gary and Cathy Schmidt of Fort Dodge & Donna Shriver of Fort Dodge. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by grandparents: Charles and Elaine Fiferlick; and his great grandparents.
