          Lucille Frieda Schlick, 86, of Fort Dodge, went home to be with the Lord Saturday morning November 21, 2009 in her sleep.          Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the St. Paul Lutheran Church with the Rev. Allen Henderson officiating. Interment will follow in the North Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:30 until service time at the church.          Lucille was born September 20, 1923 the daughter of Peter and Minerva (Baumb) Heldt in Whittemore, Iowa. In 1947 Lucille was united in marriage to Frank Schlick in Fort Dodge, Iowa.           Lucille enjoyed the outdoors especially working in her garden and watching the birds. She loved cooking and taking care of her family. Lucille was a longtime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.          Those thankful for having shared in Lucilles life include her children: Bill (Leilani) Schlick, Jim (Jan) Taylor, five grandchildren: Todd Taylor, Dave Taylor, Jeff Taylor, Terry Schlick, Billie Schlick and eleven great grandchildren.          Mrs. Schlick was preceded in death by her parents; husband Frank and one son Terry Taylor.
