Marcy S. Patz

Marcy S. Patz, 72, of Manson, IA, died Thursday, December 4, 2025, at UnityPoint Health – Trinity Regional Medical Center. Private family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are with Historic Bruce Funeral Home of Fort Dodge. 

Marcy was born January 16, 1953, in Trinidad, CO, the daughter of Jose and Margie (Valdez) Santistevan. She attended school in Trinidad. Marcy was united in marriage to David M. Patz. Over the years, she worked for Walgreens (37 years) and farmed (40 years). Marcy enjoyed spending time with her family – especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed being outdoors, mowing, tending to her yard and taking care of her dogs.

Marcy is survived by her husband of 40 years: David Patz of Manson; 2 children: Amber Jamison and husband A.J. of Urbandale, IA and Michael Patz and significant other Marrysa of Fort Dodge; 3 grandchildren: Stella, Louise and Foster; and 4 siblings: Stephanie Gonzales, Robert Santistevan, Clifford Santistevan and Alfred Santistevan. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; father-in-law: Don Patz; and 2 siblings: Dean Santistevan and Phyllis Santistevan.
