Margaret Ann Miller

Margaret Ann Miller, 84, of Fort Dodge, Iowa died Sunday, February 15, 2009 at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the Bruce-Graham Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Lehigh, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 4 until 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Margaret was born September 15, 1924 the daughter of Ray and Effie (Casebolt) Marsh in Lehigh, Iowa. On March 27, 1943 Margaret was united in marriage to William David Miller, Sr. in Bethany, MO. The couple was blessed with five children. Margaret was later employed at the Randals Bakery from 1969 until 1993 when she decided to retire.

Margaret was very proud of her family and always looked forward to spending time together. She loved to travel and participate in church functions. Margaret was a member of the Westside Church of Christ.

Those thankful for having shared in Margarets life include her children; Barbara Pirie of Fort Dodge, Mary Ann Akins of Springfield, MO, Loren Dale (Jean) Miller of Monroe, SD, Brenda Wiggins of Fort Dodge, eight siblings; Thelma (Don) Elsen, Kate (Dick) Noll, Dennis Marsh, Doris (Lowell) Swanberg, William (Paula) Marsh, Dick (Marilyn) Marsh, Pat (Dan) Ramsey, Phyllis (Daniel) Breeden, fourteen grandchildren, thirty-four great grandchildren, eleven great-great grandchildren and numerous other family and friends.

Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her parents, Husband, William, one son, William David Miller, Jr., four brothers; Edwin “Bud” Marsh, Donald “Fudge” Marsh, Kenneth “Pete” Marsh, Robert Marsh, two sisters; Ruth Page, Jessie Papish, one granddaughter; Lisa Lowrey and one great grandson; Jakob Beier.
