Margaret F. Robeson, 85, of Fort Dodge, died Tuesday, August 29, 2005 at the Trinity Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 1, 2005 at the Bruce-Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Center.  Officiating will be the Rev. Brad Pelzel.  Interment will follow in the Corpus Christi Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with a rosary at 6:30 and a vigil at 7. 

Margaret was born February 27, 1920 in Lincoln, NE the daughter of Albert and Beulah (Paidee) Weiler.  Margaret graduated from Bethany High School with the class of 1939.  Following high school she continued her education completing the nurses training program. 

Margaret moved to Fort Dodge in 1958.  In 1960 She was united in marriage to George C. Robeson the couple owned and operated Margarets Residential Care.  Margaret sold her business after 37 years of dedication to her clients.

Margaret had two great passions, one was her love for the Iowa Hawkeyes and the second was her desire to read all of Danielle Steeles novels.  Margaret loved her family and enjoyed cooking, and traveling, especially the back roads.  Margaret was also a dedicated sponsor of numerous children at the St. Judes Childrens Hospital.

Those thankful for having shared in Margarets life include her two sons; John (Carolyn) Vakoc of Wayne, NE, Roger (Gertrude) Robeson of Wilton, IA, one foster daughter; Lori (Ron) Schwering of Fort Dodge, IA, five grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.

Mrs. Robeson was preceded in death by her parents, husband, George C. Robeson, three sons; twin infant boys, Larry and Gary Vakoc, and Bob Vakoc, six brothers; Fred, Richard, Paul, Ed, George, and Roy, one grandson; Robert Vakoc Jr.
