Margaret Jean Reedy, 93, of Farnhamville, IA, died Monday, December 28, 2020, at Unity Point Trinity Regional Medical Center. A private family graveside service will be held at North Lawn Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family.

Margaret was born March 27, 1927, in Fort Dodge, the daughter of John and Tillie (Hlas) Vogel. She graduated from Fort Dodge High School in 1945. She was united in marriage to Paul Ronald Reedy on August 18, 1945, in Fort Dodge. Over the years, she worked for Woolworths (2 years), Super Value (6 years), Lazy Ike (10 years), Central Lab AKA Globe Union (7 ½ years), Hawkeye Globe Factory (short time), Santifay Health (4 years), and Electrolux (2 years), until her retirement in 1989. Her hobbies included knitting, sewing and most recently reading lots of books and doing word search. Margaret enjoyed camping with her family and listening to & watching virtual Sunday Church services. She was a member of the Methodist Church.

Margaret is survived by 2 children: Paul Emmett Reedy and wife Rita of Farnhamville, and Diane M. Daniels and husband Pat (Margaret's favorite son-in-law) of Farnhamville; honorary daughter: Janie Andrews of Fort Dodge; sister: Dorothy Licht and husband Bill of Altoona, IA; 9 grandchildren: Paul Edward, Kristina, John, Kelly, Lynn, Shanda, Dennis, Dawn, and Daniel; 2 honorary grandchildren: Tina and Ricky; 17 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 2013; son: Larry G. Reedy; and a great grandson: Alexander Reedy.
