Mark R. Wolfe, 64, of Fort Dodge, IA, died Friday, March 1, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loved ones. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM Friday, March 8, 2024, at the Historic Bruce Funeral Home, 923 1st Avenue South, Fort Dodge, IA. Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 9, 2024, at the St. Joseph School (gym) in St. Joseph, IA, Fr. Merle Kollasch officiating.
Mark Randall Wolfe was born October 28, 1959 in Algona, IA, the son of Francis Henry "Whitey" and Nadine Esther "Dee" (Hewitt) Wolfe. He graduated from West Bend High School in 1978. After graduating Mark worked for the West Bend Elevator Company, was owner/operator of Wolfe Trucking, managed Central Place Apartments, and recently worked for St. Joe Trucking. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, taking several trips to Sturgis. He rode bicycle and participated in RAGBRAI. He loved to hunt and collect guns. He enjoyed building things and tinkering around. He took pride in his yardwork. He was also a member of the Fort Dodge Gun Club. Mark was a "people person" and will be deeply missed.
Mark is survived by his wife, Colleen of Fort Dodge. 3 step-children, Justin Lane, Daniel Lane, and Shawn Lane, all of Fort Dodge. Sister, Diana Johnson of Stockton, CA. Brothers, Jim (Jolene) Wolfe of Phoenix, AZ, Kent (Gail) Wolfe of West Bend, IA, and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by Buster who held a very special place in his heart.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Don, brother-in-law Gary Johnson, sister-in-law Ann Wolfe, and nephew Jody Wolfe.
Arrangements are with Historic Bruce Funeral Home of Ft. Dodge.
