Maxine Gerald Murray

Maxine Gerald Murray(West), 86 of Fort Dodge, Iowa passed away on April 30, 2018 at the Paula Baber Hospice House in Ft. Dodge, Iowa. Memorial services will be at 1:00 pm Saturday May 5, 2018 at Bruces Funeral Home in Ft. Dodge, Iowa.  She was born on April 21, 1932 in Des Moines, Iowa.  Maxine was preceded in death by her parents: Henry West and Mary Ann Robinson; her brother Frank West; sisters Frances and Betty West and her husband Herbert (Pat) James Murray. She had married Herbert on November 15, 1950.    She is survived by three daughters: Lois (Randall) Rannick, Lori (Randy) Hanson and Lana Emrys, four grandsons, one granddaughter and four great-grandchildren.. Maxine enjoyed spending time with her family, working puzzles and was an avid reader. She was an active member of the Wahkonsa Community.  Burial of cremains will be at a later date.
