Mildred B. “Millie” Ostrem, 86, of Eugene, OR. Died January 15, 2005 of age related illness.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Friday, January 21, 2005 at Bruce-Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Center with the message being provided by Rex Garrick. Visitation will be 9:00 am to service time on Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Fort Dodge Memorial Park.

Mildred was born on March 18, 1918, it Seymour, IL to Carl and Lena Burnett. She was united in marriage to Arling Ostrem on March 16, 1946 in Champaign, IL.

She lived and raised her family in Fort Dodge while working in food service for the Fort Dodge Public School District. She retired in 1982 and moved to Eugene in 1998.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Sandy Ostrem of Albert Lea, MN; 1 daughter and son-in-law, Marie (Kelly) and Rex Garrick of Eugene; 1 grandson, Jason and wife Cindy of Cochran, WI; 3 granddaughters, Julie (Kevin) of Winona, MN, Jackie of LaCrosse, IW, Casey of Eugene, OR; 4 great grandchildren, Isabelle, Tristan, Nicholas and Nathan of WI and MN; and two sisters, Joyce Burwell of Tolono, IL and Lola Edmison of Champaign, IL.
