Nancy S. Perkins

Nancy S. Perkins, 68, of West Des Moines, IA, died Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at her home.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at the Historic Bruce Funeral Home, 923 1st Avenue South, with Pastor Jena Finch-Manchester of Trinity United Methodist Church officiating.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.  Interment will take place at North Lawn Cemetery.  Memorials may be directed to the family.  Arrangements are with Historic Bruce Funeral Home of Fort Dodge.

Nancy Shirley was born July 28, 1955, in Fort Dodge, the daughter of Donald S. and Shirley M. (Jervis) Perkins.  She graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High in 1973 and continued her education at Central College.  Nancy worked as a Benefits Coordinator for Paychex.  Nancy enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling with her college friends, book club, and jigsaw puzzles.

Nancy is survived by 2 brothers:  Craig Perkins and wife Patricia of Houston, TX, and Bruce Perkins and wife Kay of Sioux Falls, SD; 5 nephews and nieces:  Brad Perkins and wife Anne of Dover, PA and Aaron Perkins and wife Kelly of LuVerne, MN; Lissa Marchant and husband Cory of Richmond, BC, Canada, Megan Perkins of Dayton, OH, and Westly Perkins of Houston; and 5 great nephews and great nieces:  Whitney Perkins, Daniel Perkins, Zoe Perkins, Ava Perkins and Jayden Huddleston.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
