Pamela Ann Quillen

Pamela Ann Quillen, 58, of Fort Dodge, died Friday, March 10, 2006 at the Trinity Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March, 15, 2006 at the Bruce-Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Center with the Rev. Roger Kurtenbach officiating.  Interment will follow the service in the North Lawn Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Pam was born November 22, 1947, the daughter of Edward and Edna (Erickson) Steburg in Fort Dodge.  She attended Fort Dodge High School, and following her schooling worked for 30 years at Brooks Laundry and Dry Cleaning in Fort Dodge.  Pam was a devoted member of the Epworth United Methodist Church.  She enjoyed crafts, crocheting blankets, completing crossword puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren.  Although she was known to not have a romantic bone in her body, Pam enjoyed reading romantic novels by Danielle Steel.  She spent her life loving her family and took pride in raising her children.

Those thankful for having shared in Pams life include her parents David and Edna Mae Quillen of Fort Dodge; daughters, Melinda (Orin) Harris of Cherokee, IA, Cynthia (Mike) Shute of Fort Dodge, Belinda (Dave) Harris of Fort Dodge; sons John Quillen Jr. and his fiancé Natasha Thompson of Fort Dodge, Christopher Quillen and his fiancé Carolyn Dempsey of Cherokee, IA; sisters, Paula (Duaine) Ober of Blue Earth, MN, Cheri Thompson of Tucson, AZ, Ruby (Bill) Hinds of Fort Dodge; brothers Russell (Donna) Steburg of Fort Dodge and Denise (Rose) Quillen of Fort Dodge; special friend Karrie Bair and 17 grandchildren.

Pam was preceded in death by her father Edward Steburg and ex-husband John Quillen Sr.
