Patricia Marie Krantz

Pat always said you received a star on your crown for good deeds done in life. Pat's crown is full and God called her home.

Patricia Marie (Pat) Krantz, age 91, passed away Saturday, January 3, 2026 at Unity Point Health in Fort Dodge. Born August 7, 1934 in Lu Verne, lowa. She was the daughter of Bonnie and Mildred Ellifritz. She was married to Don Porter in 1953, together they had three daughters: Debbie, Jackie and Shari. They later divorced. She was united in marriage to Gene Krantz in 1964, together they had a son Eugene Kelly Krantz.

She is survived by her children: Deb Day (Greg), Jackie Nelson (Chris Crawford), Shari Johnson (John) and Kelly Krantz. Brothers: Danny Ellifritz and Gary Ellifritz, six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents Bonnie and Mildred Ellifritz, sisters: Margaret Porter and BonnieYoungwirth, husband's Don Porter and Gene Krantz.

Private family services will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at North Lawn Cemetery with Pastor Dan Kahl officiating. Memorials will be left to the discretion of the family.
