Peggy Wildt, 63, of Stanhope, passed away Thursday, October 13, at the Van Diest Medical Center. Services are pending at this time. Memorials may be directed to the family.
Peggy Wildt was born June 2, 1959 to Wallace and Donna (Fister) Wildt in Webster City.
Peggy was a devout Christian. She was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Stanhope where she taught Sunday School for many years. When not teaching Sunday School Peggy would babysit for many families in Stanhope. She was a loving woman who loved to laugh, give hugs and was loved by all.
Peggy enjoyed doing puzzles, and collecting bells. She loved to be outdoors and could spend hours gardening. Fried green tomatoes and asparagus were her favorite foods. Reba McEntire, Alan Jackson and Travis Tritt were here favorite country music performers, and she loved to listen to “Pocket of a Clown” by Dwight Yoakam and “Where Were You When the World Stopped Spinning” by Alan Jackson.
Peggy is preceded in death by her father Wallace Wildt Sr.; brother Wallace “Kenny” Wildt Jr.; sister Karlotta Venagas; and her grandparents. She is survived by her mother Donna Wildt; sisters Sherryl Thompson and Sandra Young; brothers Michael Wildt, Austin Wildt, and Ty Wildt; along with many nieces and nephews.
