Randall Wayne Webb

Randall Wayne Webb was born September 24, 1961 in Fort Dodge, Iowa to Ailene (Husske) and Leonard Webb. He grew up near Lohrville where he was very active in Boy Scouts. Randy graduated from Lohrville public school. He then graduated from Iowa State University in Ames. After college he came back to Lohrville and farmed for a short while. He was united in marriage to Deborah Riedesel. To this union two sons were born, Matthew and Derek. Randy held several jobs, some which included construction, mechanical work, Fort Dodge Bird Seed Co. and cold storage. Randy also enjoyed sailing, working on the computer and gaming.  Randy was an avid runner. He ran in the Boston Marathon and placed in the top 500 and also in ran in Germany. He ran in 21 marathons and logged over 5,000 miles.

 

On Monday, September 7, 2015, Randall W. Web was found passed away at his home in Fort Dodge.

He is survived by his two sons; Matthew of Connecticut and Derek of California, two grandchildren, his father Leonard Webb of Fort Dodge, brother Ronald Webb of Fort Dodge, brother Donald Olesen of Nebraska, sister Kristie Svaleson of Illinois, sister Francene Olesen and sister Shelia Berger both of Lorhville and several nieces and nephews.

 

He was preceded in death by his mother Ailene and his grandparents.

 

Private family services will be held later this month.
