October 9, 1947 — June 12, 2019

Rebecca “Becky” Ann Fiderlick, 71, of Fort Dodge, IA, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at Friendship Haven under the care of hospice. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, June 17, 2019, at the Historic Bruce Funeral Home, 923 1st Avenue South, with Pastor L.J. Hartley officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place in North Lawn Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family.

Rebecca was born October 9, 1947, in Fort Dodge, the daughter of Francis “Mack” and Alberta “Bertie” (Lehman) McKenna. She grew up in Dakota City and graduated from Humboldt High School in 1965. She then trained to become a nurses aide and worked at several nursing homes in Fort Dodge and Humboldt. She married Leon Fiderlick in June of 1972, and the couple made their home in Fort Dodge. Becky loved children and did a lot of babysitting. She was a good cook and really liked baking. Becky enjoyed the challenge of a puzzle, card game and board game. She also enjoyed crocheting and other hand crafts.

Becky is survived by a brother; step-children and their families; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 2006; 3 siblings; and a step-daughter.
