Richard Pirie

Richard “Dick” Lee Pirie, 63 of Fort Dodge, died Wednesday February 16, 2005 at the Greenleaf Care Center.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 19, 2005 at the Bruce-Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5 until 7 p.m. Friday.

Richard was born February 20, 1941 the son of Harold and Lucille M. (Anderson) Pirie in Fort Dodge, IA. He later graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School with the class of 1959. Following high school Richard worked numerous jobs around Fort Dodge.

Richard loved telling and listening to jokes. He enjoyed having a good time and a good laugh. Richard also looked forward to a good cup of coffee.

Those thankful for having shared in Richard’s life include his sister; Carolyn Pirie, brothers; James and Robert Pirie all of Fort Dodge, four nieces and nephews, ten great nieces and nephews, and two great great niece and nephew.

Mr. Pirie was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Rachel Anne Pirie.
