Robert H. Crawford

Robert Harold Crawford was born December 2, 1931 in Cummings, Iowa to Isaac and Agnes (Jensen) Crawford. He graduated from Moorhead High School and attended Nettleton Business College and Colorado State College of Education. Robert served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Robert was united in marriage to Arlene Mae Burson on January 20, 1952 in Moorhead, Iowa. To this union three children were born. Robert worked as a computer analyst for Land O Lakes for many years. He was a long time member of the Fort Dodge Sertoma Club. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, playing cards with his friends and going to the casino. He also liked playing tennis and golf and traveling to Colorado and Arizona.

On December 12, 2013 Robert Harold Crawford died at the Mercy Gilbert Medical Center in Gilbert, Arizona. He is survived by his children; Cynthia Augustine of Omaha, Debra Kay Graves of Fort Dodge, and Robert R.(Lora) Crawford of Gilbert, Arizona, two grandchildren; Adam (Rachel) Augustine and Joy Augustine and her husband Ben Zaugg, and sister; Ruth Beyers of New Jersey. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Arlene in 2006, three brothers, James, Gene and Rodney and grandson Zachary Augustine.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at the Historic Bruce Funeral Home in Fort Dodge. Visitation will be Saturday, from 9am until time of service. Interment will be in the North Lawn Chapel of Peace Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Fort Dodge Sertoma Club.
