Robert H Klinger

Visitation for Robert H. Klinger 66 of Fort Dodge will be Thursday 5pm to 7pm at Bruce Funeral Home. Private family services will be held on Friday. Full Military Honors provided by the United States Navy and the Fort Dodge V.F.W. Post 1856.  Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery. He passed away at his home on Friday, September 16, 2016.

Robert Hugh Klinger was born February 28 1950 in Fort Dodge To Jack and Edith (Banwell) Klinger. He grew up in Fort Dodge and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High. He then attended college. Robert served in the United States Navy from 1969 through 1973. Robert was married and later divorced. Robert farmed in the Fort Dodge area for several years. He enjoyed fishing, playing pool and raising his dog Thor.

He is survived by his three children; Joseph, Charles, and Elizabeth Klinger. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; James, Jonathon, Charles, Kolby and Tristen.

Robert was preceded in death by his mother Edith Lucas and his aunt Margaret Banwell.
