Robert Rob D. Andrews

Robert “Rob” D. Andrews, 70, of Stratford, IA, died Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at MercyOne Medical Center in Des Moines, IA. Private family services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family.

Robert was born August 16, 1951, in Watsonville, CA, the son of Prentis and Geneva (Herzog) Andrews. He graduated from Watsonville High School in 1969. On June 21, 2003, Rob was united in marriage to Linda D. (Lewis) in Stratford. Over the years, he worked at Trash Man Garbage in Webster City, drove cement truck and liquor sales until his retirement in 2012. Rob enjoyed bowling, golfing, working on the computer and watching Iowa State (Football & Basketball).

Rob is survived by his wife of 18 years: Lindy Andrews of Stratford; 4 daughters; 2 step-sons; 1 step-daughter; 8 grandchildren; a brother-in-law and a sister-in-law.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister-in-law.
